The Southpaw Series is a stunning collection of left-handed instruments based on our entire range of both Artist and Luthier Series instruments, everything from left-handed FOOL SGs to left-handed Super-Yobs, the Southpaw Series offers the often less catered-for left-handed players a chance to emulate their idols. Relic Options are a brand new feature of The Custom Shop, offering a relic service for any and all models in our range and indeed, your own guitar, if you want your instrument to look and feel like its been through 30 years of blood, sweat and tears, to have jammed along side the greatest and played venues across the globe, then your search is over! Uniquely, we offer 3 stages of Relic-ing from 'well travelled', 'vintage performer' and finally 'hell and back!' allowing you to decide how distressed you would like your beauty to look and feel, with no loss of quality or playability, Relic options allow players with a taste for that extra vintage vibe authenticity to indulge themselves!
Custom Equipment has always been a fixture in The Painted Player experience, in conversation with artists and budding players alike, essentially any of our guitars can be fully customised to your own preference, if you want a FOOL SG with gold hardware and a Trapeze tailpiece - no problem, if you hanker for a Monterey Strat with all-black hardware and Bigsby Tremolo then just ask! It's literally that simple, we deal with various equipment suppliers to provide you with high quality hardware, equipment, pickups and a definitive playing experience. While our price listings cover the 'standard' format for each model, never be afraid to ask for a custom job, we'll discuss the options with you and sort out an individual quotation free of charge.
Signature Models are on the rise, after collaborating with several artists last year on personalised guitars, we decided to launch the Signature Series as part of The Custom Shop and make it available for everyone, not just seasoned players with money to burn and jet-setting guitarists in hard-hitting bands. Every player deserves to feel like a Rock God at some point in their lives and what better way to get that buzz than having your own Signature Model available, not only to you but the general public as well! Together with our Custom Shop and Concept Team, we'll work on a unique guitar just for you, giving you exactly what you want from your personalised instrument. E-mail us a scanned copy of your signature and the process will be completed with your own signature logo on the headstock and a spot in our next Catalogue and a Feature on the website as part of the Custom Shop's Signature Series!
