Designed by Hamer for the legendary "Police" Bass guitarist, Sting's unique 8-String Octave Explorer style Bass was a rare glimpse at something truly special. Now, our Custom Shop team has reimagined this striking design to bring you the HAMMER 8 - featuring innovative design features including a custom made bridge / tailpiece, Dimarzio X2N humbucker with coil-tap switching and on-board 'active' Boost circuitry and single master volume control. Available to order in your choice of original 8-String Octave or standard 4-String Bass design with a choice of fretless or fully fretted fingerboard, the HAMMER is a mammoth guitar, commanding both studio and stage in dynamic 'Fire Red' finish!

Featuring a bolt-on neck design, Chrome hardware, custom made bridge & tailpiece, Dimarzio X2N Humbucker, master volume control, coil-tap switching and an on-board 'active' Boost circuit (9V Battery Supply) - completing the dynamic picture for this expressive piece is a 'Fire Red' finish and Fully Fitted Professional Flightcase. Available to order with your choice of fretless or fully fretted maple fingerboard.
