It is commonly known that this guitar is not the very first Fender Stratocaster ever made but sources believe it may be the first one ever given a genuine serial numbered neck plate.
A stunning guitar that features custom gold equipment and a gold adonised scratchplate, blessed with original 54' factory pickups, 3-way switch and recorded tracks on Gilmour's first solo album and during the 2004 concerts, celebrating 50 years of the Fender Stratocaster.
