Neil's number one backup guitar, this Les Paul Goldtop has been by Neil's side almost as long as "Old Black" and many of the iconic modifications found in the original workhorse, were prototyped here. P90 & Firebird pickups alongside a Bigsby B7 Vibrato with rear cavity weight relief and Schaller Tuners - "Old Gold" features an aluminium style 'full size humbucker' pickguard (that is mis-matched), orange switch tip with no toggle plate, Gold Speed Knobs and a 50's wiring loom that does not feature the micro-phase switch from "Old Black".
An iconic guitar in her own right, "Old Gold" is available in full relic based upon archive images of the original instrument as well as glorious Non-Relic.
