THE TPP SRV "NUMBER ONE" STRATOCASTER TRIBUTE
An icon of musical history, Stevie Ray Vaughan's beloved "First Wife" was used by SRV for most of his career after he purchased the guitar back in 1973 - making heavy use of the 63' Fender Strat on all five of his studio albums. Hap-hazard attempts at modding the guitar (like trying to add a 'left-handed' tremolo) led Vaughan, while on the road, to buy some stickers at an old truck stop, using the iconic holographic "CUSTOM" sticker so cover the hole across the bottom of the bridge! He also found his own initials, "SRV", and applied them to the scratchplate and the guitar remained a fan-favourite ever since, one of the most recognisable Stratocasters ever.
